taken.
MY SCHOOL
{Paragraph}
My school is Brighter Days Secondary School. It is located in the west of the island of Barbados at
Trents, St. James. There are many landmarks near my school, such as: the
Holetown Monument, the Holetown Methodist Church, the St. James Parish Church,
and the Maple Club.
The school is large, painted brown and pink and has many
well-kept classrooms, laboratories, bathrooms and surroundings. It also has a hardcourt
and a canteen. There are about eleven hundred pupils at my school and about
seventy members of staff.
Junior boys between first and third forms wear a yellow
shirt-jack, short khaki pants with brown leather shoes and socks. Junior girls
wear a yellow inside bodice with a brown overall and similar shoes and socks as
the boys. Senior boys from fourth to fifth forms wear a yellow shirt-jack with
brown trousers, whereas, senior girls wear a yellow blouse and brown skirt.
Brown shoes and socks are worn by both groups. Pupils at my school do a wide variety of subjects, including: Home
Economics, Electronics, Leather Craft, Dance, Mathematics, Music, English,
Spanish, and many others. Most pupils travel by bus to and from Brighter Days Secondary School.
